Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ResumeInterview / Career Copilot (the “Service”) operated by the Company (“we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Guidance and research only — no guarantees
All AI output (resumes, scores, interview prep, study packs) is general guidance and research assistance only. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary, or ATS success. Metrics are estimates for your review, not facts endorsed by employers.
2. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for accuracy and truthfulness of what you submit. AI may hallucinate. You must not misrepresent experience or credentials.
3. License and ownership
You grant us a license to process your inputs to operate and improve the Service. We own the Service, software, templates, and technology. You receive a limited, revocable license to use output for personal job-search purposes.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive use.
- No unauthorized scraping or abuse of the Service.
- No violation of third-party terms (job boards, networks).
- No unsolicited commercial email in violation of anti-spam law.
5. Payments
Fees are processed by third parties (e.g. Stripe, Razorpay). Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Subscriptions renew until canceled.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OR OPPORTUNITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR THREE MONTHS OR US $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, SUBJECT TO MANDATORY LAW.
8. Indemnification
You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.
9. Governing law
Ontario, Canada law governs, subject to non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction. See also our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
